    ThinkWell is an emerging health systems development organization that is currently in a major growth phase. While our core area of work is health financing, we take a health systems approach that includes human resources for health, health information systems, private sector engagement, and research and evaluation. As part of the USAID Bangladesh Advancing Universal Health Care (AUHC) project, we are looking for a Analyst, Business Development.  The AUHC project will transition the management of 399 Surjer Hashi Network (SHN) clinics that are currently being managed by 25 NGOs to a newly formed social enterprise.

     

    The Innovation team: 

    The Incubator within AUHC project is responsible for technical and strategic advisory service to build, run and make SHN (Surjer Hashi Network) a sustainable private social enterprise. In the process of running an Incubator within the AUHC project, ThinkWell underscored the need for a dedicated team to lead on new product/ service validation, modern business development approach and re-defining way of work to support SHN’s double bottom line. Hence, Innovation function has been introduced to equip the Incubator and AUHC project with people who bring relevant experience from the industry to be able to advise SHN with all necessary business development support.  Innovation team is a group of top minds with core moto of functioning as a team across AUHC project to help management make decisions.

     

    Role objective

    You are part of the most agile team and your contribution to the project is never limited by the JD. Then again, you are the information hub for the team! You will mine and analyze existing data assets to address client-specific requests and cross-cutting, generalizable report and case development. You will also lead or assist new projects regarding research design, data collection and preparation, analysis, and interpretation of findings. Serving as Analyst in one or more key business development domains, e.g., Product/ service expansion, pricing strategy, project performance. You are the go-to person for senior management when it comes to data, numbers and recommendations for making business decision. Remember, we are here to help management make decision

    Responsibilities

    Major responsibilities

    1. Being a self- starter and taking the lead in understanding and developing data analysis plans, data quality assessments, research and reporting agenda; Ultimately compliment the broad innovation agenda.

     

    1. Analyze the AUHC project data requirements reviewing the clients’ requirements and inform management and team with financial and business projection and innovation initiatives.

     

    1. Generate recommendations and insights for the project mangers by digging down various primary and secondary data sources, financial information and project reports.

     

    1. Play a key role in the development of business strategy and plan by assisting with pricing, revenue growth, budgeting and sales projection cases.

     

    1. Assist/ Develop business and project cases for SHN and AUHC for any new/ existing activities that have potential cost, revenue and customer impact.

     

    1. Participate in data quality checks on certain AUHC research, survey and assessment activities;

     

    1. Provide input to AUHC progress reports, work plans and other deliverables as required; 

     

    1. Own all types of data collection and analysis activities into the USAID system and maintain M&E database; and 

     

    1. Manage various data requirements from stakeholders and management to assist in short, medium and long- term business decision making.

     

    1. Flexibility to move around and collect information from different online/ offline sources. Travel may be required to serve different dynamics of the project.

     

    1. Any other responsibilities assigned by supervisor/ realized from the project priorities.
