  • Overview

    The Group Sales Advisor is responsible for providing advisory and technical assistance to the incubator to support SHN in planning and managing sales from clinic level services, other products it will distribute through the network and any other business it may engage in for diversification of revenue source. This position reports to the Revenue Generation Advisor.


    • Support business plan development of SHN, by providing inputs to developing sales and revenue generation goals and strategies.
    • Facilitate implementation of sales (both consumer, provider/trade) and sales promotions strategies and activities of SHN
    • In partnership with the Revenue Generation Advisor, provide the incubator with strategic direction for supporting SHN to develop new revenue streams through sales and marketing of consumer health products
    • Provide technical assistance to SHN to develop and manage its logistics and supply chain for sales and distribution of products and services
    • Ensure the systematic use of scientific and technical knowledge in all activity’s design, implementation, and monitoring to advance UHC in Bangladesh.
    • Contribute to the project’s overall learning agenda
    • Work with short-term technical assistance pool and strategic procurement of subcontract services, including from Ad-din and Green Delta, on the creation and implementation of an insurance pilot.
    • Respond to ThinkWell Global Headquarters and donor to their queries at regular basis.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.


    • The candidate will hold an advanced degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or another relevant field;
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience of managing sales or distribution business, preferably in industries with the health sector
    • Experience in working with financials, like P&L, balance sheet and other business performance indicators
    • Experience working with donors, governments, or NGOs in international development finance or a related field, will be an added credential.
    • Experience of living and working in a low \-income or lower-middle income country is highly desirable;
    • Strong quantitative skills, proficiency in use of excel, statistical and data management applications will be preferred
    • Fluent command of English and Bengali;
    • Willingness to travel is essential.
